I have worked for nearly 20 years as a counselor, mentor and facilitator with individual, couple and group clients faced with a plethora of personal, relationship, and work-related issues or in pursuit of personal development. In recent years, I have mainly focused on intercultural and relationship counseling, constructive and non-violent interpersonal communication, coaching approaches, and the use of stress-release and meditation techniques when working with the conscious mind.
It brings me joy to be a guide to my clients in the complex maze of communication, relationships and self-discovery, accompanying them to find contentment and greater fulfillment in their lives.
I provide individual consulting at the Alivio therapeutic center, where I also facilitate groups interested in personal growth and development. Additionally, I am a consultant, trainer and facilitator for CEE Intercultural and an intercultural, psychosocial consultant at human rights organizations, such as The Association for Integration and Migration (SIMI), People in Need or Prague Civil Society Centre. I work with multinational and multicultural teams dealing with issues associated with intercultural communication and relocation. My clients come from diverse cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds.
I have a combined education in the areas of business, interpersonal communication and psychotherapy. Years ago, I studied international business at the University of Economics in Prague and worked at several international corporations. Becoming increasingly interested in counseling and personal development, I later completed a four-year psychotherapy training program (Carl Rogers´ Person-Centered Approach) and continued with a number of other courses both in the Czech Republic and abroad, focusing on topics, such as self-experience, communication, facilitation, psychotherapy and personality growth. I am interested in approaches, such as the enneagram typology, mindfulness, Ayurveda, etc.
In addition to consultations in English, I also provide sessions in both Russian and Czech.
